In the coming months we will have special interviews with three members of the Thomas TV crew. Troublesome Truck has been busy corresponding with veteran model-maker, Chris Lloyd, who
worked on Thomas & Friends from very early on in the Clearwater Feature days through to the final model-based series in
2008. Chris also shares some very enlightening news about TUGS and a small part
of the show’s history which never quite made it to air...
In addition to this, one of the creative brains of the TV Series, Robert Gauld-Galliers is
also going to have a very extensive interview published on SiFansite in the near future.
Robert goes into great detail about how he developed the Island of Sodor for the first seven series and brought the
Rev. Awdry’s vision to life. In addition to this, we have a selection of
never-before seen concept sketches, behind the scenes photographs from Robert’s work on both Thomas and TUGS, and a
little something that made David Mitton jump out of his skin!
Finally, we are organising an interview with a very notable member of the current TV Series crew who we’re
hoping will share their memories and future vision for the show. We are currently putting together a set of questions
for the brand new Head Writer, Andrew Brenner, who has agreed to talk to us, pending approval from HIT Entertainment.
It’s all very exciting and it’s all coming soon.
